Start by determining whether the engine cranks. Then inspect dashboard power, battery condition, key-card recognition, brake or clutch input, transmission position, and any warning messages. If it cranks normally but won't fire, fuel delivery, engine sensors, immobiliser operation, and diagnostic fault codes become more important.
